Delete my account

Capture & Save — published by Overie

From the app (immediate)

Open Capture & Save and go to the More tab.
In the Account section, tap Delete my account.
Choose whether to keep or erase the data on your phone.
Enter your password, tick the confirmation box, then tap Permanently delete my account.

Without the app

Write to contact@captureandsave.app from your account's email address, with the subject "Delete my account". We handle your request as soon as possible, within 30 days at most, then confirm the deletion by email. The delay is only needed to check the request really comes from you: from the app, deletion is immediate.

What is deleted

Your account (email and password).
Your cloud backup, with all its versions and all backed-up photos.
Your tree published for your relatives, and your family links.
Your view-only shares, voice stories, identification and printing requests.
Your entry in the "Make me findable" directory.

On our servers, nothing is kept after deletion.

On your phone, you decide: your data stays there (the app keeps working without an account), or it is erased too. It is removed anyway if you uninstall the app.

Only want to delete some data without deleting your account? You can delete photos, people, shares and stories directly in the app, or write to us.
